this was give to me by a friend and i really liked it alot..... i know that i have not written in awhile adn i probable wont for a long time again but i hope you like it.....
Fallen Short (Romans 3:23)

Romans 3:23 says, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”. I know all of us can agree on this one. We can agree on this over and over and over.

One thing I know that brings a Christian’s view of themselves down is repeated sin. {I feel as though I may have written a devo on this point before…If so, you get to hear it again!} We all do it, we all have, at least, one sin in our life that is our greatest struggle. We so many times find ourselves falling back into this sin repeatedly and wondering why we cannot beat it once and for all. The worst part of this is what it does to our spirit, our self-worth (from our point of view). It makes us feel not worthy to go to church, to read our bible, and worst of all we don’t feel worthy to be in God’s presence. Guess what? We’re not worthy to be in God’s presence!!! No matter what we do or who we are, we are NOT WORTHY. So, you should feel not worthy to be in God’s presence even if your Billy Graham (great evangelist).

So, why is it, that when we fall into that “one sin” we struggle with, that we banish ourselves from God or feel “unworthy.” Okay, first off, did Christ come for the “perfect” or the broken…DING DING DING…you got it, the broken! He came for the sinners. Second, we are unworthy to be in God’s presence, but God loves us, each of us individually, with an unconditional love, an all consuming love, and if you fall at the feet of Christ, the foot of The Cross, we are washed clean and justified by the blood of Christ and the grace of God.

Verse 23 of Romans 3 tells us that we have all fallen short of the glory of God, but God is too good to have stopped the apostle Paul from writing at that point. Verse 24 says, “and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.”

When you are the most broken is when you should RUN to the foot of The Cross, not hide from it! Although, once redeemed by the blood of Christ, we are not given the freedom to fall back into that sin, we are to abstain from it with the help of our fellow Christians and accountability (very important). I am not saying that if you fall back into that one sin that you are doomed, no, you are not doomed if you are willing to seek the Lord for TRUE REPENTANCE, not an empty “I’m sorry.” God knows your heart and he knows if your repentance is genuine. Live for Him and seek Him ONLY! “Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always” (Psalm 15:4).

Your Brother in Christ,
Brice

I was bored and thought this woudl be fun so here you go...........

What's Your Soap Opera Scenario?
Amy, in your soap opera scenario, you're The Wise Benefactor

What soap opera doesn't have the all-powerful, head of the family who's been on-air since the pilot episode? Sure, The Wise Benefactor has probably come back from comas, near fatal accidents, abductions, mysterious illnesses, botched murders, and multiple corporate takeovers. But they're the heart of the show with their integrity, sense of right and wrong, and ability to magically make things happen around the town.

Like The Wise Benefactor, you're a true original who can't be replaced — which is why you're sure to be around for a long time. There's just no substitute for your wise and powerful personality. And people can't help but to ask for your advice when times are tough. That's because they know you'll tell it like it is.

Always a warm soul, though sometimes you do exhibit some cold ambition, you keep your family together and are probably also the center for lots of happenings. The town wouldn't be the same without you, so keep doling out the advice, giving folks a hand-up when they need it, and putting people in their place when the time is right. If it weren't for you, who would keep the family, much less the town, afloat?
